How long does it take for carpets to dry?
Most carpets are dry within 4-8 hours. We use high-powered extraction and air movers where approriate to speed up drying.
Drying times can vary depending on the carpet type, humidity and room temperature, with wool carpets taking a little longer.
Will all stains be removed?
We successfully remove most stains, but some permanent stains or damage cannot be reversed. The outcome depends on the type of stain, the fibre and whether the stain has already set.
We'll assess the stain first and give you an honest appraisal before starting.
Are your cleaning products safe for pets?
Yes. We use professional-grade cleaning solutions that are safe when used correctly. Once the cleaning process is complete and the carpets are dry, they're safe for children and pets to enjoy.
Do I need to move furniture?
Please remove any small items, valuables, electronics and breakables before we arrive. We are happy to move light furniture such as dining chairs, coffee tables and small sofas where it is safe to do so.
For safety reasons, we don’t move heavy furniture such as wardrobes, bookcases or large sofas and we will clean around these where necessary.
We also use protective tabs or blocks where appropriate before replacing furniture.
Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?
It's helpful, but not essential. We thoroughly vacuum before cleaning to remove dry soil and prepare the carpet for the best possible results.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash or bank transfer Payment is due on completion of the work.
Can I walk on the carpet straight after cleaning?
Yes, although we recommend keeping foot traffic to a minimum until the carpet is dry. If you do need to walk on it, clean socks or indoor shoes are best to avoid re-soiling.
